PAMPLONA ES MURALLAS
Declaradas Monumento Nacional y con más de 5 kilómetros de recorrido, las murallas y la Ciudadela de Pamplona constituyen uno de los complejos militares renacentistas más interesantes y mejor conservados de Europa, siendo uno de los recursos turísticos más importantes de la ciudad. La Ciudadela, reconvertida actualmente en un centro cultural gestionado por el Ayuntamiento, alberga numerosos eventos y festivales.
Pamplona conserva además un Casco Antiguo de trazado medieval formado por tres burgos, Navarrería, San Cernin y la Población de San Nicolás, los cuales se unieron en el año 1423 cuando Carlos III dictó el Privilegio de la Unión.
PAMPLONA ES SAN FERMÍN
Las fiestas de San Fermín, declaradas fiestas de Interés Turístico Internacional en 1980, se celebran todos los años del 6 al 14 de julio.
El comienzo de las fiestas es el día 6 de julio a las 12:00 con el lanzamiento del cohete en el Chupinazo, y el final es el 14 de julio a las 00:00 con el Pobre de Mí, la despedida oficial de los Sanfermines.
Son unas fiestas de fama mundial. Nueve días de fiesta ininterrumpida en los que Pamplona se transforma y en los que el protagonista principal es la gente.
Es precisamente su carácter participativo, diverso y espontáneo lo que hace que los Sanfermines sean unas fiestas únicas, irrepetibles y especiales en las que todas las personas pueden disfrutar libremente, a su manera y desde el respeto.
PAMPLONA ES CAMINO
Situada en el Camino de Santiago, Pamplona es la primera ciudad en el peregrinaje desde Roncesvalles, lo que ha condicionado su historia y carácter desde tiempos remotos.
Al tratarse de la primera ciudad, se convierte en el primer punto de apoyo y de referencia para los miles de peregrinos que llegan durante el año, ofreciendo una amplia variedad de servicios orientados a sus necesidades.

Iruña San Fermin da, baina harresitutako itxitura ere bada, parke eta lorategiz josia, Santiago Bideko lehen hiria da, bere gastronomia ospetsua da eta jaialdi eta ekitaldi ugari antolatzen ditu.

IRUÑA SAN FERMIN DA
XII. mendekoak dira San Ferminen omenezko festei buruz ezagutzen diren albisterik antzinakoenak. Haietan, santuaren erlikia bat lekuz aldatu zenekoa aipatzen da, Amiensetik (Frantzia) Iruñera, 1186. urtean. Erdi Aroko testuingurua kontuan harturik, pentsatzekoa da horrek bultzatu zuela santuarekiko jaiera Iruñeko biztanleen artean. Gero, Santuaren martirioa oroitzeko ekitaldi erlijiosoei hirian urtean zehar ospatzen ziren beste zenbait ekitaldi gehitu zitzaizkien, hala nola hazienda-azoka eta zezen-jaialdi batzuk. Hiriaren historiak eta garapenak berdegunez eta zuhaitzez betetako herria eraikitzea ekarri du, bertan ondare kulturalak eta hiri-izaerak bat egiten dutelarik. Declared a National Monument and more than 5 kilometres long, Pamplona’s defensive walls and the Citadel comprise one of the most interesting and best preserved Renaissance military complexes in Europe, and one of the city’s most important tourist attractions. The Citadel, which has now been converted into a cultural centre managed by the City Council, is the venue for numerous events and festivals. Pamplona also preserves its Old Quarter with a medieval layout formed by the three boroughs of Navarrería, San Cernin and the Settlement of San Nicolás, which merged into a single city in 1423 when King Charles III enacted the Privilege of the Union.

The San Fermin festival, which was declared to be of International Tourist Interest in 1980, is held each year from 6th to 14th July. This festival is world famous. Nine days of non-stop fiestas in which Pamplona is transformed and its people are the protagonists. Les données les plus anciennes à propos des fêtes en honneur de San Fermín datent du XIIe siècle. Elles font allusion au transfert d’une relique du Saint depuis Amiens jusqu’à Pampelune en 1186. PAMPELUNE EST CHEMIN
Située sur le Chemin de Compostelle, Pampelune est la première ville du pèlerinage de Roncevaux, qui a conditionné son histoire et son caractère pendant plus de mille ans. Plus précisément, la ville sert de point de référence pour le Chemin français grâce à Ultreia, le Centre d’accueil et d’interprétation des pèlerins du Camino de Santiago, qui combine une expérience sensorielle sur le Camino avec des informations pratiques pour commencer -ou continuer- le parcours .

PAMPLONA SIND DIE STADTMAUERN
Die Stadtmauer, die 1973 als Nationaldenkmal erklärt wurde, erstreckt sich über ca. 5 Kilometer. Sie bildet zusammen mit der Zitadelle eins der interessantesten und besterhaltenen militärischen Bauwerke aus der Renaissance und ist ein wichtiger Anziehungspunkt für den Tourismus in der Stadt.
Die Zitadelle etabliert sich heute als vielseitig nutzbarer Veranstaltungsort. Das ganze Jahr über finden dort u.a. Konzerte, Ausstellungen und Sportevents statt.
Besuchenswert ist auch die mittelaterliche gut erhaltene Altstadt. Sie entstand aus der Gruppierung von drei “Burgos” (unabhänginge Stadtbezirke): Navarrería, San Cernin und San Nicolás.
Das alte Pamplona und die “Burgos” lagen fast immer im Streit miteinander bis König Karl III. von Navarra mit dem “Privilegio de la Unión” die Vereinigung der Stadtbeezirke zu einer einzigen Stadt im Jahr 1423 anordnete.

Neun Tage lang wird ununterbrochen auf den Straßen gefeiert. Die gesamte Stadt wird ganz in weiß und rot geschmückt.
Die Gastfreundlichkeit ihrer Bewohner und gute Stimmung auf der Straße, die einen spüren lässt, dass jeder mitmachen kann, sorgen dafür, dass sich die Besucher gleich wie zu Hause fühlen und sich in den Zauber der Fiestas integrieren.
All das macht dieses Fest einmalig.
PAMPLONA IST DER JAKOBSWEG
Durch Pamplona führt der navarrische Zweig des Jakobswegs, was natürlich ihre Geschichte und den Charakter geprägt hat.
Am Jakobsweg gelegen, ist Pamplona die erste Stadt auf der Wallfahrt von Roncesvalles aus. Besonders in den Sommermonaten sind viele Pilger in der Stadt anzutreffen, die in Pamplona den ersten Referenz- und Unterstützungspunkt finden.
